Recently, Xinqidian Computer Co., Ltd. in Yichang Dianjun Industrial Area successfully delivered its first batch of 50 AI servers. After rigorous assembly and testing, these high-performance servers were transported to the Dongyuemiao Data Center, marking a significant step in local AI infrastructure development.

The newly launched AI servers, built on GPU architecture, offer advantages in high speed, efficiency, and low power consumption. They will be widely deployed across sectors including healthcare, finance, and smart manufacturing, serving as critical infrastructure for cloud computing, big data, and AI technologies.

Since establishing its presence in Yichang in May 2024, Xinqidian achieved production and operational efficiency within just seven months. This facility is not only Yichang’s first AI server production line but also boasts a current daily capacity of 600 units. The company plans to further build two desktop production lines, targeting annual revenue of 200 to 500 million yuan and annual tax contributions of five million yuan.

Yichang’s computing infrastructure construction is advancing rapidly. To date, the city has built intelligent computing capacity exceeding 2000P, with over 10,000P of computing power under planning or construction. By the end of 2024, the Dongyuemiao Data Center will deploy 2000P of AI computing power and establish a direct connection between Yichang and Chongqing with latency below 3 milliseconds. These efforts lay the foundation for Yichang to become a national hub for the digital economy.

As intelligent transformation intensifies, the adoption of AI servers not only enhances operational efficiency across industries but also provides robust data processing capabilities. Chen Xiaoming, General Manager of Xinqidian, stated that the new production lines will drive regional economic growth and inject innovative momentum into the sector.

Leveraging powerful computing resources and deep learning technologies, these tools generate artistic works or textual content through algorithms—boosting creative efficiency while reshaping traditional workflows. Specifically, AI painting tools create intricate artworks based on simple prompts, while AI writing assistants rapidly produce high-quality articles or reports.

However, the pervasive application of AI technology has also raised concerns regarding creative copyright and ethical implications.
