On January 17, the reporter observed over ten workers with clear division of labor assembling AI servers intensively and orderly at the workshop on the second floor of Building B14 in OVU Jiangnan Science and Technology Innovation Park, Dianjun District, Yichang City, Hubei, China. That same day, the first batch of 50 AI servers produced by Xinqidian Computer Co., Ltd. completed assembly and testing procedures at the park, ready for shipment to clients.
Xinqidian, a company introduced to Dianjun District in May 2024, achieved production and efficiency within just seven months. As the inaugural product from Yichang’s first server production line, these AI servers will play a critical role in supporting infrastructure for emerging technologies such as cloud computing, big data, and AI.
“The newly produced AI servers feature high-speed processing, exceptional efficiency, and low power consumption, making them widely applicable across sectors like medical care, finance, and smart manufacturing,” stated Chen Xiaoming, General Manager of the company. “Their launch not only bridges the gap in Yichang’s high-performance computing production capabilities but will also accelerate the city’s digital transformation and economic growth, boosting related industries such as semiconductor chips.”
Currently, Xinqidian operates two AI server production lines with a daily capacity of 600 units and two desktop computer lines producing 1,000 units daily. Moving forward, the company will enhance its original innovation capabilities, achieve breakthroughs in core technologies, and expedite the delivery of groundbreaking scientific achievements.
